Group swimming lessons

We follow the Swim England learn to swim framework, starting with Discovery Ducklings for babies, Duckling awards for pre-school, the learn to swim stages for school age children, stages 1-8, then progressing on to our Pre-Club classes leading into our non competitive Great Whites Swimming Club. Our lessons run for 50 weeks of the year with 2 weeks off for Christmas.

Discovery Ducklings – Our Adult, Baby & Toddler sessions run on a Monday & Friday morning and are aimed at 3 months to up to the age of 3yrs.

Duckling – Our Pre-School lessons run during the weekday, Monday to Friday in the morning or early afternoon. The classes have a maximum of 4 children per class.

Stages 1-8 – For school aged children run Monday-Friday after school and on Saturday & Sunday mornings.

Stages 1-3 are taught in the small pool with a mximum of 4 children per class for stages 1 & 2, stage 3 has maximum 5 children to prepare them for the transition to the main pool. Stages 4-8 take place in the main pool and have a maximum of 6 children per class.

Pre-Club – These sessions are 45 minutes long and have a maximum of 10 swimmers, working on technique and stamina this class then feeds into our Great Whites non comptetitive swimming club.

Payment for group swimming lessons is £51.70 per month and is payable by Direct Debit.

Pre-Club Ideal class for those looking to increase good stroke technique and stamina in preparation for our swimming club, Hampton Great Whites. You must be able to swim 400 metres constantly.		18:00		18:00	18:00	12:30

These are available at various times during the year when our STA Swimming Teaching Courses take place, with trainee teachers who are taking the STA qualifications. These are bookanble through our app and also at reception.
